By accessing or using ReceptionistAI ("Service"), operated at myreceptionist.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including business owners and their callers.

2. Description of Service

ReceptionistAI provides an AI-powered virtual receptionist that answers phone calls, books appointments, captures leads, and integrates with your business tools including Google Calendar, phone providers, and payment systems. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party services including but not limited to:

• Google Calendar: To read your availability and create appointment events. You authorize this access through Google's OAuth consent flow and can revoke it at any time.
• Vapi / Twilio: For voice call handling and phone number provisioning.
• Stripe: For subscription billing and payment processing.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing, features, and billing cycles are described on our pricing page. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the AI receptionist for harassment, spam, or deceptive practices
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations regarding phone communications

7. AI-Generated Content

The AI receptionist generates responses based on the information you provide during setup. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incorrect or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring your AI receptionist's behavior, and you acknowledge that AI responses do not constitute professional advice.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for informing your callers that calls may be recorded and processed by an AI system, in compliance with applicable call recording laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceptionistAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
